OSU does not own an legitimate '02 NC title, we all know that....no sportswriter, even today, gives OSU a clean sheet on winning an ill-gotten NC as so splendorized by its "Poster Child" Maurice Clarrett.

I hear the kid sort of continues in his wayward ways that he learned while at OSU where he was given cars, cash, stereos, written book reports, doctored-tests and the gamut........hell, he wanst good enough to win the NC until a crooked ref called a bogus interference call on the last play of the game...an Ohio native that has since been expurgated-in-shame from NCAA officials.

Sure feel sorry that Clarrett's story of the shenanigans that take place at OSU felt on deaf ears.

Well, here we are in the "deja vu" mode......five loaded pistols, bullet proof vest, armed robbery........standard-procedure for an OSU athlete-alumnus.

Can't say I am surprised.......the kid is a victim of the system that corrupted him and then discarded him like a rag doll once he started talking the truth...............TRUTH HURTS HUH?

    The Gonz.........'02 legitimate NC champions

    Headline:

Warren Sapps Drug Problem Swept under rug by Alcoholic Dennis Erickson...results in Hurricanes forfieting Nat'l Championship yet again.

    ap: Miami

Yet again Miami is forced to give back an illegitimate Nat'l Championship because of the thug nature of it's players. Previously the Championships that had players like the murdering Blades Boys and the Pot smoking, drug dealing Irvins have been returned.

    Gonz, is this really necessary?

Terry O ........first off....do you know that Warren Sapp never played but did not win an NC game?....and Sapp never tested positive for any drugs at any time.

Sid, is it necessary?....yes.....I want to highlight that when OSU and other programs who have loyal posters here run afoul they go untouched BUT...when "The U" suspends its star runner for missing study hall in January the bs flows about Miami in trouble again.

Gonz, we don't have to. You take it upon yourself to be the DA (take that how you wish), the Judge, and the Jury.

Let it rest. If you can't win with class at least try to lose with it. And if I'm not mistaken Miami is the program that had an assistant coach arrested for selling steroids.

OK class, let's have a review...

    See Ohio State win.
    Win...win...win...

    See Miami Lose.
    Lose...lose...lose.

The game was played a long time ago.
Some people still don't believe the scoreboard.
    What's wrong with this picture?

What complete nonsense. Is Miami football so far down the shitter that we must replay a NC game from five years ago over and over .

    YOU LOST!

Whiner. If you can't win it on the field maybe you can win it in court or in the papers.

    :D Hey Gonzo!

The season is about to start. Why don't you quit fooling around and give us a real analysis of the Canes chances this year. Offense? Defense? Special teams? How's Coker holding up under the criticism? Is he on the hot seat there? What's working? What's not working?

    Lets get going here!

The usual, its all about that defence. Could be the best in the nation, but once it has a letdown  , coker comes coming down with them.

I cant see them putting up many points on the board unless their playing fiu, fau, houston etc. Any team with a good pass rush, will have a free pass to knock kyles wrights head off.

No moss, no moore, now mabye the starting middle linebacker gone as well. are you getting nervous??

    Tressel Won't Quit on Clarett

I'm sure that will generate a snide remark from a certain direction, but at least it implies to me that it wasn't a complete situation of him being "used" and then "cast aside".

I'll always be grateful that we had his talents on our team for that one star-struck year...what he has done with himself since is absolutely unbelievable and absolutely tragic.

    =======================================

    JOCOMEISTER:

Canes have a brand new offensive line........big and super athletic....but no game-on experience as a squad....and the opening game is vs FSU.

Best corps of secondaries in the nation, ditto for the D-line....new linebackers unproven.

Offense has a lot of weapons, Both Kyle Wright and Kirby Freeman at QB are the best talent I have seen in pure form in 20 years......new offensive coaches have plays where both QBs are in the same line-up.....swing passes and reverses to a back-screen with WRs going long.....that kind of stuff.

Miami's coach Coker is on the hot seat....minimum BCS Bowl bid or pehaps he's done......Butch Davis available but he left vicariously from the U....he lied until he left to Cleveland.....plenthy other coaching talent around....including our own Randy Shannon....our D-coach.

Runners abound ......got Javaris James, a true frosh and cuisin of Edgerrin James......runs like a banshee who's ass is on fire.....Charlie Jones is also explosive and strong.....looks like McGahee used to look.

My prediction is perhaps a Top Ten finish with a slight chance of a BCS bid and a shot at the ACC east crown....a 10-2 season overall.....anything beyond that would be a stretch but I will take lucky breaks.

    The Gonz

    BOBDAWADYA......HILARIOUS!!!!!..DON'T STOKE THE FIRES!!!..lol :p

I have a feeling if they get pass FSU, they will run the table. Last year their was no motavation to do so after they lost to florida state, even if they made a decent push. Larry isnt the motivation type of coach that they need at UM. They have all the talent in the world, but for some reason their never able to show it. Imo Randy Shannon would be a great choice if coker were to get the boot. Like i was saying, if they get past fsu, i cant see coker and the rest of them who have taken so much heat from the alumni/fans let the chance slip. Jon Beason is the leader they've been missing since Ed Reed left. They need those type of players, that believe that losing is not an option at UM. My buddy tells me sam shields is a big talent at the wr spot, and that defence is arguably the nations best at every spot except mabye linebacker. As much as i dislike the canes, i have a feeling they will get back to the top sooner than later.

Swamp82 in one post you say they (Canes) won't score many points and that the OL will give up a lot of sacks, in the next post you pose that if they get by FSU they will run the table. What's up with those prognostications, they don't seem to jive?
