This should be an entertaining B!G TEN game. The Badgers have a very powerful running game with three excellent backs. Buckeyes seem to be a viable scoring machine this year. Braxton Miller has been cleared to play. Guiton waiting in the wings if needed. Night game on National TV. This will sort out the Big Ten race.
This game will be determined by one, we continue to score with all of our new weapons, and two, can we control Wisconsin's rushing attack. Time of possession will be critical as we can not let the Badgers control the flow of the game.
I hope to get to watch this one... Should be interesting. Chalk says the Bucks walk it. College football likes to smear the chalk tho... so we'll see. I wonder how mobile Miller will be?
Scott, Supposedly Miller is 100%, has had a good week in practice. My only concern is that Miller seems to be prone to injuries! On the other hand, I have the utmost confidence in our backup, Guiton a fifth year senior, if Braxton can not perform or goes down.
I don't know why but I just think Wisconsin is over rated and that you guys will handle them easily...2 TD's at least. Of course looking at my standing in the pick'em contest...that's the kiss of death.
We prepared well to stop the Badger's running game, but gave up way too many yards through the air. Stave make it look easy at times with our coverage. Whisky always seems to give us a tough game. Braxton looked he was ready to go, but our conservative play calling, especially late in the game was very puzzling to me. A conference win is a win, so I will not knock that part. We did nothing to move up in the polls and maybe even drop a spot or two.
That TD right at the end of the half was huge. It was interesting that Wisc came out ready for you guys to try and take away the running game and go ahead and throw the ball. Stave and the WR (#4) had some big playes. Solid win for you guys. Miller was spectacular, I was switching back and forth between A&M and your game.
Bad news this morning in that we have lost one of our defensive leaders, Christian Bryant with a broken ankle, in last nights game. He is gone for the rest of the season. That is a tough blow.
Don, I watched some of the 1st half and the entire 2nd half. IMO as the season moves on, you may realize that this was your toughest conference game. I was impressed by OSU's speed on defense.
Another Bucky-Buckeyes war. I suspect that are a lot of sore players this morning. OSU's ability to play mistake free football was the difference. Wisky has to be kicking themselves this morning as they probably cost themselves 10-17 points resulting from a missed field goal and losing two fumble recoveries because of penalties. The Bucks did a great job stuffing Wisky's running game and Miller was, as T said, spectacular. Borland had a great game for Wisconsin. His stuffing of Hyde at the goal line was one of the best defensive plays I have seen in years.
