Apologies in advance to my friend Bobda..... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2LjcRlI1EII&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2LjcRlI1EII&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I was wondering if the UM/OSU game had fallen so far off the radar due to the disaster up in Ann Arbor that it wouldn't even get it's own topic. Just continue on as an addendum to the OSU/Illinois topic.
Another sign of compassion for my friend up north......believe me, I do not always revel in their struggles, but I will for d##n sure this weekend. That said, strange things can happen in this rivalry and something really, really bizarre is quite possible......perhaps not probable, but certainly possible.....
Wait till Coach Rodrigues gets off the bus at Columbus if he thinks message board posters and fans (was he talking his homey's or opposing fans on the road) say mean things to him.
There is no question in my mind that Coach Rod will receive the best the Buckeye Nation has to offer for the visiting coach from up north.....
More pain for Bobda, apparently there will be a small parade of Wolveweasels out of Ann Arbor after the season, including Sam McGuffie the jewel of this years freshman class.
There's a rumour going around the Internet that the OSU/UM game has been canceled have you guys heard anything about this??? Apparently Meechigan can't get past Toledo!
Then there is the Sparty fans who watched the PSU-Iowa game and were rooting for the Hawkeyes. It wasn't until after the game that they figured out that by losing to Iowa, PSU effectively took MSU out of the Rose Bowl mix. The Sparties have one hope. If they beat the Nits (and that's a real big IF) they have one hope, and that's for the skunk-heads to beat the Bucks. They have to root for M. For some of them, that's unthinkable.
Re: McGuffie. As soon as I read Terry's post I went to the Detroit Free Press web site. They say he "may be" going home for a funeral.
Some new material on the Dead Schemmies latest CD..... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ewjo4etQQEI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ewjo4etQQEI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
College football....zzzzzzzz Hockey! A sport with a playoff! Now there is a real sport. And by the way, BT, the Columbus Blue Jackets ( WTF is a Blue Jacket anyway?) suck.
Since O'Keefe would annually write a note gleamed from some libelous source posting on the NDNation bulletin board that Lloyd was dying of some undefined, incurable illness and would be annoucing his resignation right after the bowl game, I discounted his note about McGuffie leaving. But, after reading recent postings at http://mgoblog.com, I think that Terry's web searches now include reputable sources from the Wolverine blogosphere. If he is, indeed, gone, I wonder where he will go? His talents fit well with a spread offense and there is talk that he is homesick. Texas Tech?
" White-Eyes Bobda call himself a hockey fan? Ugh! " Meet Blue Jacket, Shawnee War Chief, from south central Ohio in the 1700s
Thanks for clearing that up, George. I thought it was some insect indigenous to Ohio since the team's logo is a bug holding a hockey stick.
