Ralph....are the Canes back? I think you will get your answer next week because I do think this Ohio State team is a good one.
Well there is only one way to find out and that's to go up to Columbus in front of 105,000 fans and see what happens....
Ralph, Fans here are anxiously awaiting next Saturday's game here in Columbus. Looks like two teams very capable of putting some points on the scoreboard. Likewise both teams play excellent defense, should make for a very interesting encounter. We are inury free, how about Miami?
Don, I hope you are right, but I havn't heard anything recently about Nathan Williams ability to go at 100%.....we will miss him a great deal if not. Jacory is a special talent, has great skill people around him and if we can't give him something to be concerned about with the down 4, he will make things happen....we'll need Williams at full speed coming off the edge so Jacory doesn't get too comfy..... Both teams looked very impressive against less than the best competition....I am looking forward to this game and C'bus and the Buckeye Nation are looking forward to it so I know the old girl is gonna be rockin' Saturday afternoon......good luck to your Canes Ralph, it is shaping up to be a helluva scrap. BTW, Ralph, I love that Buckeye pic you posted....few more beautiful images in life than a "pancaked" stripehead, a gashed d-line and a Buckeye running back exploding into the 2nd level.....damn that is good stuff! I promise that framed pic is on the wall of that young Buckeye O-lineman and he'll be enjoying it for the rest of his life!
I loved the pictures as well BuckeyeT Terry it looks like Sebastian the Ibis got carried away and stole the hat off the local law enforcement... 8) Miami has a few injury's. Our right tackle is banged up and did not play the first game and probably will not play against Ohio St. If there are any other players hurt we will not know until game time because Shannon is among the best at not saying anything... I was disappointed with the play of our linebacker corp and it is a weakness with the Canes. I also expected to see more of a running game since we have an incredible deep roster of fine backs but the players said that they went with what the defense was showing them. This game is being hyped up to atomic proportions as a coming out party for the Canes. We have the talent but have not won the big game and this is more a head game than a talent problem...I am excited to watch it on TV at Columbus in a rather one sided crowd  but have the confidence that we will make it an event instead of a blowout by the Buckeyes... Good luck to your team as well my friends, I hope its a game to remember for both teams... RC
I think I saw somewhere the Buckeyes favored by 9 1/2.....seems a bit much to me. The Canes are a very, very talented football team with alot of experience coming back.....Jacory is a major talent. They are due for a break out game against a quality opponent, I'm just hoping it's not this one! We got through week one without any real injuries and we're looking forward to the return of one of our starting DE Nathan Williams....hopefully as close to 100% as possible.....I believe one of the keys to the game will be the ability of the front four to pressure Jacory. If we can do that and not have to resort to blitzing it will make life much easier for our DB's trying to keep up with the Cane skill people and give Jacory something to think about.... In truth, we did in fact have an injury of some significance and that was to the egos of our special teamers.....a blocked xp, blocked FG return for a TD and a long KO return.....I continue to have a nagging concern that a weak link in special teams is going to cost us a big ballgame....I pray Coach T and staff are working it out as we speak....
PAGING MR GONZO.....PAGING MR GONZO....... MR GONZO it's time to set up some woofin and ofcourse the "We was robbed chorus" BT 19C here.....what time at the "Corner"? G

I think we've got Stu and his posse threatening an appearance as well.....don't you still owe me a beer? email me your cell and let's see if we can do this thing....although like I told Stu, this time you guys don't have the obvious disadvantage of having TOK in tow, so.....
Ladies... and Gentlemen... Let's get ready to rumble!!!!!! In the right corner wearing the green trunks with burnt orange trim, Terry the hammered O'Keefe... And in the left corner, wearing the Brutus head, Terry the toter Spencer.
