I did not see that coming. I figured if nothing else the Gators would shut out Ga.Southern and score on defense to win.

Southern dominated the line. ALL. GAME. LONG. Three pass attempts, zero completed. 54 rushes for 429 yards, including -21 sack. Average 7.0 per attempt.

How does Florida NOT stop the rush against SOUTHERN??? Forget the offense that we all know is a problem. But Southern's OLine absolutely destroyed the Florida DL. Ouch.

    Is Muschamp gone?

Good thing Gator Bill is out in the Atlantic and didn't see the game then.

GSU offense is troublesome but they just don't have the athletes that Florida has. The game was not on TV here so I didn't see it but this is huge.

I feel for most Gator fans. I know how it feels when the wheels fall off.

Florida may have secured a win for me in my money contest. Everyone had put 19 or higher points on Florida (22 games this week in that contest). I put 10 on Forida which gives me a commanding lead in possible points.

I am sorry but I don't feel bad for the Gators and I am paying the tuition to send my son there. How many times have we heard SEC dominance in all things and everything else a distant second.....I feel bad for both Bill and Dave because of their love for the team.

If you don't live in Florida you cannot understand the arrogance of UF fans, who by the way 99% never attended the university....This game speaks volumes to where Muschamp may wind up at the end of the season....

Is this a surprise when we all know success comes in cycles and UF is currently visiting the bottom of their cycle....The Gators will come back and be a dominant player in college football again...

College football is cyclical. You enjoy the ride when you're on top but you can never forget that it doesn't last forever. That includes conferences too.

Muschamp should consult with a realtor. Just to be safe.

UF AD Foley recently gave Muschamp the proverbial vote of confidence! :)

If you don't see the triple option it is not easy to defend the first time you see it even with superior athletes. You have to get them behind the chains and force them to do what they don't like to do. If you let them drive on you and score and get ahead you are in a heap of trouble.

I remember Paul Johnson in his first year at Ga. Tech make teams loaded with superior speed and athleticism on defense look silly. They were used to just going after the ball and didn't have the discipline to stay in their lanes and let the play come to them. I didn't see the UF game today but I'll bet it was something like that, they got your defense of superior athletes on the run and you guys were cooked. The only reason we beat Navy was our offense was able to outscore them.

This is so bad that I refuse to pile on in any way, shape or form. It's that bad.

Georgia Southern does not have one kid on their roster who could play for the Florida Gators. Injuries don't matter. Scheme does not matter. That's a 6-4 FCS team against one of the premier programs in the nation, let alone the Southeast, who is returning a ton from the team that played in the Sugar Bowl last year.

    No excuses.

App St.... Michigan was ranked 5th and starting the season at home with all of it's players healthy.

That upset in AA was absolutely shocking...... not many including most UF fans are truly shocked by UF's loss yesterday.

I read that Georgia Southern only had something like 47 scholarship players on the field yesterday, FCS allows 65. Don't know why, certainly it couldn't be injuries.
