Been a long while since I have voiced any complaints about officiating against UF but there was some questionable officiating in the FSU game that went against the Gators or that went as non-calls vs. FSU. I would have been upset except that our offensive ineptitude was so significant to the game outcome that I didn't feel the need. Now.... with a college football playoff spot for the SEC hanging in the balance you would think there could be the beginnings of a conspiracy favoring Alabama this Sat. night in Atlanta. OK.... so that's reason the Gators will get pummeled by the Tide.... yeah.... that's the ticket!
Fortunately for ND we got to use ACC officials in our game with Stanford. I'm sure that ND's position in the playoff picture and the possibility that if NC beats Clemson that they'd be in a fight with ND if we'd won, for that last spot had nothing to do with their calls. And we had insurance that everything would be on the up and up because the replay officials were from the PAC. We might have smelled a rat if they didn't call any penalties on Stanford however, they went out of their way to show their impartiality by hitting Stanford for one whole penalty for 5 yds.
Does make you wonder sometimes Gipper. But in UF's case the SEC officials in the Swamp last Sat. are a bunch of dumbasses if they were anti-UF because a Fla loss opened the door for the SEC to be out of the playoff entirely. Now this coming up Sat. being ani-Fla. works just fine for the SEC's playoff possibilities.
Well the Auburn fans have brought up the fact that the reason they lost to Alabama was because the refs called 0 holding calls on Alabama.....of course they have to shut when it comes out that the refs called 0 holding calls on Auburn. :? MCG, if you want some prime ideas, go stand on Toomer's Corner under the trees. Oops, I mean on the sidewalk.
Just watched the non-face mask incident that gave Aaron Rogers the opportunity to make the Hail Mary. Tough call in real time, but watching it in slow mo it should have been called.
