We are going to be gone for 10 days and two football games, Georgia and Vanderbilt. However because my wife is fighting a medical condition right now that makes it a bit hard for her to walk long distances we are not going to attend the Georgia game tomorrow. Our Grandson and a friend are going with his mom and dad to the game. His brother is in the Gator marching band and he is a junior in HS and also is in the marching band. We are going to our longest term friends and watch the game on their HD TV. For the next game, Homecoming, the walk is not so long and we have an elevator pass for the home games for Jeanne so that works well. Seems as I get older the HDTV looks more and more inviting.
It got more interesting for me a few years ago. 8) I have grown to despise crowds. My living room is hardly ever crowded.
Well, let me chime in. When we lived in Ft. Wayne and had a lake cottage 50 minutes away and a little over an hour from the ND campus, going to the game was fun and not stressful. Living in Indy, we are 3 hours from campus. It's a tough trip to make both ways in the same day, especially on the return home late at night. I have become a big fan of watching the games on my HD TV.
... and I thought it was just me :!: spending hours in my patio room with my recliner 52 inch Sony HD..lap top ...used to love to drive, not anymore.
