Off To Florida

    Leaving in about a half hour for Jacksonville to go to the Gator game with LSU tomorrow. We will be staying with our daughter.

    Hopefully the Gators right the ship tomorrow and go through the rest of the schedule to earn a rematch with Alabama in the SEC Championship game.

    Anyhow.....I agree I would like to see UF win the rest of their games as it sets up the Gators for the best bowl possible.

    However....I'm afraid another loss to Bama sends Fla to the Cap One/Outback mix because there will be too many one loss/no loss teams available to fill out the BCS bowl slate.

    I would just as soon see UF in the Outback Bowl.....making it more convenient for me to go see them play on Jan. 1st.

    A BCS fill-in is more desirable of course but that will be difficult as I say.

    Hey...any bowl talk starts with a win over LSU.....

    Do you have access to any extra tickets Bill? My nephew is in town from Michigan and is heading up to G-ville along with my son and I and we only have two season tickets.

    We got here just in time to go to our Grandsons high school's football team. He plays in the band.

    The football team isn't very good and they got beat, however the band is great and we enjoyed the halftime show.

    We are meeting our long term friends for breakfast this morning. I've known him since about 5th grade. We went through high school and college together and were in the same Fraternity and best man at each others weddings.

    Then later today it's off to the game.

    I like Tom's score.

    I'll be a bit more conservative
