Not a good night for Billary. A win was expected but not this big, also I think Bill is getting some backlash for his attacks on Obama.

His speech to his followers was a tremendous bit of oration. I do think he did however steal the "bridge to the future" from Clinton/Gore when he said the battle was between the Past and the Future.

Bill looks like he is on the verge of a breakdown. His attacks against Obama are now drawing the ire of blacks. If a Republican said the things that Bill said about Obama they would be finished in politics.

Hillary is a two bit phony, possibly the singular most disingenuous politician of our times.

I saw Obama's speech and was indeed impressed.

I have to agree with George about Hillary but would include Bill right there with her.

Anybody think that Hilliary may have accomplished what she wanted by making race the issue in a state she was bound to lose?

How much worse for her if Obama had won by a narrow margin but managed to forge a coalition of black and white democrats.

He got 80% of the black vote and 25% of the white...mission accomplished for the Clintons?

Watched Hillary kick off her Super Tues campaign in Nashville, she gave a tip of the hat to Obama and moved on, interesting to note that she had a black congresswoman introduce her and that most of the people sitting behind her on camera were also black.

Bill supposedly poo pooed the OBama win with a comment that well Jesse Jackson won in 84 and 88 as well....ie big deal.

Blacks are between a rock and a hard place on this one.

On one hand they have Hillary using the traditional liberal approach of buying votes from the lower income brackets by promising free "everything" and to punish the "rich". Her definition of "rich" includes most of us on this BB, I suspect. She is using the classic Clintonian gambit of class warfare and divisive politics.

On the other hand they have Obama. A young, fresh face; an eloquent speaker who has an optimistic tone in his rhetoric. Untested to be sure but clearly a break from the status quo fat cat rich money grubbing politicians that mainly comprise government now.

How the black voters perform in these primaries will define them for decades to come.

    The Kennedy's just endorsed Obama.

Here's a quote from Caroline Kennedy that probably really cuts Slick Willy to the bone.
