A little luster off this game since the Seminoles are no longer #1, having been rightfully displaced by Miss State and the Irish sort of limping into the game undefeated for sure but a struggling undefeated team no doubt.

FSU has been installed as a 13 point favorite and I think that is about right, they are at home, they have a 22 game winning streak, and for all his troubles Winston is still the reigning Heisman winner and one of the best QB's in college football even if he is an idiot off the field.

But never the less you can bet there will be a lot of hype and this is the Prime Time ABC game this week and the only game involving Top 10 teams.
You can bet that more than once ESPN/ABC will reference the 1993 Game of the Century.

Go Irish...I didn't think we would get to 6-0 before the season started. I thought we'd have a loss to either Stanford or Michigan. So inspite of our warts I am enjoying the season, and even a loss to FSU (unless it's a big blowout) will not ruin the year for me. I never saw us as getting to the Playoffs. Now we have a shot, maybe even if we lose if we play well and lose a close game.

The key word there is "1993" Game of the Century. Every year, there is a Game of the Century. They are identified by the year in which they were played.

If you're looking for reasonable football discussion this week about this game, you guys are gonna need to ignore me and get Gentry back in here. I hate these motherf****s. They are all that's wrong with college sports and they deserve to be taken down at every chance.

I know we say any win is a win, 1 point or otherwise.. but close games come with excuses. I hope we beat these motherf*****s by 2 scores or more. Is it realisitic? Probably not, but it could happen. I'm in them middle of a blue million different expenses and I am sending my son to New York City for spring break. However, we're still watching the ticket wire because if I get my hands on 2 tickets I'm pulling the all night drive with my son who has never seen ND lose, including the ass kicking they put on FSU in Tally the last time.

I know there are many reasons why we could lose this game and I am sure they are all valid. I still don't want to hear it. I want to ruin their whole damned world. Irrational? Absolutely, but that doesn't mean my opinion is any less valid.

Never was a more true statement made.

I've hated them since the early 90's when they backed into a win over the Aggies in the Cotton bowl (we dropped 2 TDs!).

They lie, steal, and cheat. Not really any debate about it.

Go Irish!!! (Beat the Hell outta FSU!)

Same guy who had 500 signed items for Tod Gurley on his website, also has 340 signed items for sale with Jameis Winston's autograph on them.

    Plot thickens.

So what do the coaches ultimately hope for their players down in Tally? To quote Bobby "I'm hoping for a misdemeanor."

ESPN just reported that the number of "Famous Jameis" autographed items for sale online after last Saturday's game with Syracuse was more than 800...

I assume that since Winston will undoubtedly play Saturday, all of you Notre Dame fans, would prefer that he will be playing, in lieu of a tainted win, if Notre Dame defeats the Seminoles?

To have a win over FSU would be viewed as an asterisk win, which would not be nearly as enjoyable.

I had meant to post this here in lieu of the Jaemis Winston FSU should Resign Topic

Yes I think most ND fans would prefer Winston play, and his not playing, should we win, would devalue the win.

But it's too bad that his behavior will dominate the pre-game talk about this game rather than the merits or weaknesses of the other players and the 2 teams. It's going to be all about Winston.

Who by the way is up to all most a 1000 signed and number items for sale.

From Kelly's press conference. Really proud of how our guys have handled things. Also for the most part the players dismissed have handled it pretty well, Daniels and his dad were the most vocal on twitter and social media. But the rest of the guys were pretty quiet. I liked that Russell came to Kelly and also asked to talk to his teammates before the UNC game.

    Atta boy Tim!

Husker, sorry I had to depart early. High school freshman tend to not do as they are asked unless threatened. :)

    Re Florida State:

    F*ck these guys.
