Cindy and I are headed to San Antonio for date night tonight... some of you will know that this translates to 1/4 mile grudge races at the San Antonio Raceway. We are staying in SA to go run Three Sisters a.k.a. Twisted Sisters Saturday morning. We then attend the premier of Present Day Saturday night in Boerne Texas. Present Day is a documentary about the good work being done by Selia Belt and the Moonlight Fund to support returning veterans that have returned with burn or blast injuries. Cindy and I were honored to have been, and still are a small part of this organization and are proud of the help it gives our soldiers. We will start a leisurely drive back up 130 Toll road on Sunday morning for a day of rest at home.

Friday night was fun. 12.81 with 0.041 reaction time was a best for me. Went with the Alamo City Modern Mopar group to run the three sisters. There was one fatality in that rally. A squirrel successfully ran across the road in front of the lead car. Cindy was the 5th car in line with me following her. That squirrel tried coming back across and Cindy clipped its hind quarters. The squirrel flew up about 2 feet in the air with all four legs sprawled out. He landed in the road right in front of my left front tire... thump thump. A few seconds later, I heard over the radio from a trailing car: "I think it used to be a squirrel..." Squirrel 0 Challenger 1
