Well I am one that chooses to enjoy the 2nd Amendment to the point of not having enough funds or room to fully enjoy that right (Its time for another gun safe)...

Nice Colt Tom, where was this gun when I purchased my S&W 40 cal from Budsgunshop a couple months ago. I went looking to buy a 45 but ended buying the 40 cal on a great deal going on from Buds...They were Colorado State Police trade-ins at an unbelievable price...

Now you have me looking at this and wondering what I can scrounge up in my secret stash to consider buying it... :?

I have never really been a handgun person but sincerely believe that we are not far from having to slice our scrotum in half to legally be able to own a gun or purchase ammo while some bureaucratic weenie looks on with Godlike power...

My joy is over and under shotguns from 28 ga through the normal 12 ga...We do a lot of quail & dove hunting around here and lately a few pheasant shoots as well...The quail and dove are a lot more sporting than the pheasants...And if your really good with lots of range you can go snipe hunting...I also have a few different calibers of hunting rifles with a new mini 14 as a toy to wail on the wild hogs that constantly make life miserable at the farm...

In my "courting days" we used to take the girls out at night with promises of snipe hunting with paper grocery bags in the middle of the night far, far from town ... We never caught a damn snipe in those grocery bags but sure did enjoy the girls and their necks while waiting for the elusive snipe to hop in the bag...

What do you think I meant by "I miss those days!"?

Now Cindy, before you slap me, remember, I said I haven't done that in a loooooooooong time.

The submarine races were also a favorite event at Percy Priest Lake. Most of those Tennessee girls were gullible. I found one that wasn't and haven't been able to put anything over on her for 27 years.

Ok, now you are going to have to elaborate the definition of the submarine races at Percy Priest lake......?

That's where you take your girl to the Elm Hill Recreation area (up to 30 ft cliffs that the kids would dive off of into the lake). You tell her that you are at the finish line where all the subs will surface. Then you find interesting activities to keep yourself entertained until they surface. Of course, it was too dark to see them once they did.

You guys wasted too much time....I used to date all the girls that failed drivers education, because evidently they never spent too much time in the front seat of a car.
