Arkansas had no chance to win that game anyway. Last year, USC beat them 70-17 at the Coliseum and the game wasn't that close. It was thee single worst performance by a D-1 team that I've ever seen. The Razorbacks quit on the field and the Trojans played every player that they suited up and finished the game with their walk-ons on the field...and the walk-ons scored too!

Although they lost some famous players, the truth is that USC is probably better this year than last year. They actually have more preseason All-Americans this year, no kidding. One example of how they're improved is at the linebacker position. Injuries forced them to play six different LBs and all six return. Their starting three LBs, Keith Rivers, Oscar Lua and Dallas Sartz are as good as anyone has, especially Rivers who's a first-round draft pick. The backups would all be starters at most schools: Rey Maualuga, Brian Cushing and Tommy Williams. All six will eventually be drafted and that's just one example.

    The Trogs are reloaded.
