ScoutTV has a highlight video up of him. I don't think you have to have a subscription to view it. Ohio State, Tenn, and ND fans should take a look at it. He looks pretty good to me, he hit his short passes and crossing routes in stride and completed a number of long passes where the throw was very accurate. He's got a lot of offers now, besides Ohio State, Tenn, and ND, he has them from Alabama, LSU, Stanford, So. Carolina and he's been to Texas but doesn't have an offical offer there. I think the way Mack works is that you won't get an offical offer until you are ready to commit. I've been told that when you go to one of his jr days and he wants you he brings you and your parents into his office and tells you that you have an offer if you will commit on the spot. If not then you don't have an offical offer. Before you say that's nuts....Mack already has 19 commits for the 2010 class. Nick Montana
Actually, Tenn. hasn't offered Montana yet.... http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2009/feb/26/montana-says-he-wont-wait-around-on-vols/ I'm not sure for the reason other than the fact the buzz seems to indicate the Vols are sold on Heaps. The way this article reads, Tennessee would have a much better than average shot at landing Montana if they offer.
Interesting about Jake Heaps. He was the first player offered by Charlie and our #1 target at QB. I'm sure that Vol sites have guys who watch all kinds of video and write extensive posts of analysis, we have them over on ND boards as well. One guy in particular who watches a ton of film says he doesn't get why coaches are so impressed with Heaps. He thinks Heaps will be a QB who is sort of topped out at the HS level. But Heaps is a 5* QB on Scout and has a long list of offers, so he must be good.
