Well some really good games this weekend. I'd vote the Saints/SF game as the best one of the weekend. What a finish and how much has Alex Smith changed this year. That TD run was great and that bullseye TD pass to Davis was even better. I like the 49r's to make it to the Super Bowl.

Green Bay/Giants game was almost as good, that Hail Mary at the end of the 1st half pretty much sealed it for the Giants. Seemed like they were just going to run out the clock then they score. I wonder what happened to the Packers defense this year, last year they were awesome, this year not so much.

Baltimore/Houston....oh my kingdom for a veteran QB. Rookie TJ yates made some horrible throws and Jacoby Jones makes a knuckleheaded play on a punt and it overcomes an awesome defensive effort by the Texans and Arian Foster running game. Really the Texans mistakes, and inspite of really getting after Flacco on defense not being able to force him into a turnover was the difference. Having Yates was like bringing a knife to a gun fight.

New England/Denver...most boring game of the weekend.

Going forward I"m rooting for an all Harbaugh Super Bowl. That would be pretty cool, even though I thoroughly dislike both brothers!!

If the Giants can beat SF they will handle New England.

    My preferences.

If it's a NE vs either NYG or SF I'd go for the NFC team. I'd root for Baltimore if they make it though.

Living in Indy, the news and sports shows are rife with opinions on what matchups would be best for the local economy. The early consensus was Green Bay vs. Pittsburgh. I'm guessing that the feeling now would be Baltimore (ironic) vs. NYG.

I cannot root for Jim Harbaugh, and I'm neutral re: John. I don't like Coughlin because of his attitude towrd ND when he was at BC, but I'll root for the Giants because I like Eli. I've never warmed up to NE, so I'll root for the Ravens.

My personal preference: NYG vs. Baltimore

I was pulling for the Broncos and Tebow the other night but after Gerard Warren sacked Tebow he did the Gator chomp and it's always cool for me to see that.

He and Brandon Spikes both do that when they get sacks and then there was Hernandez the TE who is really becoming quite an offensive weapon for NE.

So.......my home colors show through when I say.....Go Pats!!!

Dark day today in Wisconsin. Judging by the faces of my co-workers and neighbors, you would have thought that the FDA banned beer and cheese for human consumption.

Anne became a rabid Packer fan after our move and now thinks life has lost all meaning. I remained a Lions fan after the move and remain well adjusted to dealing with life's misfortunes.

Having also been a Lions fan somewhat for many years I have also grown more accustomed to the pitfalls that can strike our sports dreams and have therefore learned how to better deal with the misfortunes of the Gators when they occur.......such as their record of the past two years.
    8) :D

Teams lose....cars get made....life goes on......that's what the Lions taught me.

I always heard that quality control was crap in the detroit auto plants when local teams lost, or before a big game...or maybe just anytime back then! :)

But, if you are Aaron Rodgers, life after losing is still good:

At this point I have New England as the favorite.

I wanted Green Bay and New Orleans but both them had turnover special days and their defenses were soft.

Giants vs New England in a rematch of the year the Pats almost went unbeaten.

    Jif.....in Bill I do trust. :D

Bellichick has always been close to the Gator program and you can always count several ex-UF players on his roster.

Right now Aaron Hernandez looks like a budding NFL star for example.

Bellichick and Meyer used to get together in the offseason and pick each other's brains.....or so it is said.

Go Pats!!!! I wanna see some Gator chomps from here on out!

Aaron Hernandez and Gronk are the very best ever....both are headed for the Hall if they dont get hurt.
