I think a few folks have given up on the NFL this year and the rest who didn't, their teams had shitty years. Not Cleveland level of shitty, but bad by their standards.

That video was pretty funny. I have no idea how the Browns went O for the season. I mean, I thought they would have won 1 game at least. I think the biggest thing is to commit yourself to the build. It seems that they do that for a couple of years, get frustrated and start panicking and then blow it all up again. Sure, they've made some bad picks as well but they've also had some really good talent come through there only to eventually lose it because guys get tired of losing.

Personally, When I skip the upcoming Super Bowl I will be celebrating two years clean from the NFL. With a son in law enforcement I can have nothing to do with a league that passively sanctions an atmosphere of anti-police protests.

    No interest whatsoever.

Well, maybe there are those of us who also have family and friends in law enforcement and the military, and who also give them the respect they properly deserve....would still occasionally like to discuss the NFL a little bit. :?

    To each his own.

Although I'm thankful that I'm not a Cleveland fan, I'm wallowing in the mire of the Colts' lost season. There's enough drama here in Indy for a miniseries. Looking for a new coach, hoping our star QB can return healthy and effective. Dealing with our mercurial owner, etc., etc.

I don't have a favorite in the playoffs. I just hope the Patriots lose (not likely). I'm looking ahead to the draft.

Stu, do you have a favorite? Who or what position do you think the Browns should draft with the #1 pick?

P.S. Funny video. That guy's singing voice, while lacking, is infinitely better than mine.

Yeah I know George and I’m sure you didn’t mean it as a slap at me. But it kinda rubbed me that way.

I thought a couple of times about starting a NFL topic, esp when Watson had the Texans on a roll. But never did.

It's appropriate right now. So I'm glad Stu started it.

My comment right now is that I keep hearing the Chiefs are going to part company with Alex Smith in the off season and go with Patrick Mahomes. Now Mahmoes has some potential but what if the Chiefs make a deep run in the playoffs, how do you let him just walk for an untested rookie?

Also what are the Browns going to do they have 2 of the top 5 picks, and I'm sorry I just don't think Sam Darnold is going to be a great NFL QB. Rosen maybe, but it no doubt in the NFL if you don't have a franchise QB you aren't going very far. If they take another QB at #1, what do they do with Kizer?

Agree. This season he was not close to what he was last year. Can't see him going as high as predicted.

Right now the teams I'd like to see in the Super Bowl are the Steelers and the Vikings. I'd like to see the Vikings win it all this year.

Prediction. Jon Gruden is going to be a colossal failure in his return to the NFL. It's gong to be worse than Joe Gibbs second tour in the NFL.

Some times NFL players just slay me. Le'Veon Bell says he'll either sit out the year or retire if forced to play for 14 million dollars next year. I don't know how he'll feed his family on that, not to mention the injustice of it all to be paid amongst the top 5 at his position.

Wow...what an ending to the Saints/Vikings game!

I thought the Steelers were dead several times but they kept coming back...I didn't understand the last minute strategy, but Jags played well on offense. Sadly I don't think they stand a chance vs the Pats given that big Ben carved up the defense pretty good.

I hope the Vikings win the NFC, and the Jags the AFC. Vikings win the SB.

I'm not sure anyone in the stadium was happier at the end of the game than Keenan. The Vikes seemed to have the game well in hand until he threw that terrible interception. Both games yesterday were very entertaining.

Titans and Mike Mularkey part ways. Maybe a little surprising given that the Titans just had a big playoff win in KC, and granted they did a face plant in New England but still seems a bit odd.

I wonder if Big Ben will retire this offseason? He's been hinting around at it for awhile.

Looking at the Final Four QB...which one doesn't fit?

    Keenan -Vikings
    Foles - Eagles
    Bortles - Jags
    Brady - Pats.

The defense will be the key to stopping the Pats. If you remember the AFC championship in Mile High Stadium. It was the Broncos defense that stopped Brady and won the game, it was not the brilliant play of Manning out dueling Brady. It was Manning not making the mistakes and taking advantage of what the defense gave him that made the day.

The Jags have a young fast and aggressive defense..but looking at what the Steelers did yesterday I'd say I hope their ready but I wouldn't bet on it.

I'd say at least 3 of those Steeler TD's were incredible catches. I don't think that the Jag D was a bad as the score made it look. They're going to have to somehow cover the safety valves and still get to Brady to have any chance.

Does New England have Antonio Brown? What a beast he is when he is on.

    Go Jags!!
