This is another big weekend in college football. Not that I don't want to continue whining about the events of the previous week, but as we've learned this season, you better be watching because change is coming fast.

Wiscy and Ohio State. Every year I think there is no way Wiscy can play with the Buckeyes and damn near every year they prove me wrong.

Wake Forest and Virginia.. Dont look now but this young Wake team is right on BC's heels in the Atlantic Div of the ACC.

Purdue and Penn State will go along way toward giving us some sort of idea about the bowl order for the Big10.

Vandy and Florida.. could be??? no...

Nebraska and Kansas... A chance for the Jayhawks to make another statement that there is a new world order in the Big12.

    Michigan and Michigan State..always fun.

Texas and Oklahoma State. Can the Cowboys pull off another man-sized upset?

LSU and Alabama.. There has been a quiet buzz in this state since Monday. The fans didn't celebrate the win over UT nearly as long as I thought they were. They know the LSU players have been circling this game for a while. A Bama upset turns the SEC upside down and leaves Bama in the drivers seat to Atlanta. That is possible as long as we don't hear too much 'Chinese Bandits' during the game. If LSU were smart, they'd pound this out on the ground and try to wear down Bama's defense. That running QB for LSU should be suspended for this game but I don't think it will happen.

BTW, for those that dont know, this is Chinese Bandits and the LSU band plays it when their defense forces a turnover while the fans bow to the defense.

Cincinnati and South Florida.. Two teams that need a win bad here.

Missouri at Colorado.. The Buffs D is better than you think. They are on the way back. Not there yet, but headed in the right direction it would seem.

Florida State at BC. If FSU can get its air game going, this one could be interesting.

Rutgers at UCONN. No, you didn't read that wrong. Rutgers at UCONN is a good game that means a lot this week.

Texas A&M and Oklahoma. Fran has a habit of losing games he should win and somehow pulling out a win or a close one when the world counts him out. This could be one of those games. I doubt it, but it could be.

Oregon State and USC. Well this figured to be a payback game anyway... we'll see.

South Carolina and Arkansas. I have no idea what the hell either of these two teams are doing. SOS can beat anyone and Arkansas has the talent to run on anyone. SCAR needs this to stay in the East running. Nutt needs this to have any chance to save his butt.

Arizona State and Oregon... Oh my. Like Larry, I am so glad ESPN picked up this game so I am not left to watch yet another ACC regional tilt. Unbeaten ASU is about to try on their big boy pants. They finish with Cal, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Zona. They have the Trogs in the Valley of the Sun. Autzen is as tough, loud and nasty of a place to play as there is in college football. Those people are nuts..This figures to be the last realistic major hurdle for Oregon aside from the not so obvious fact that UCLA is a team with multiple personalities and the Civil War to end the season. Still, they are better than their last 3 opponents on paper. This game is big.

I don't think its a significant weekend.....most of these gamew will be lopsided Ws and the LSU vs Alabama doesnt mean that much anymore.

FSU will not even come close to BC...they are starting Weatherford....he's much worse than Miami's Kyle Wright.

Rutgers at Uconn....neither is a real team

Ohio State vs Wisc.....OSU in a cakewalk

Thats it.....nothing really exciting this week

Oregon was much better than ASU, as I suspected they would be. Dennis Dixon is scary like Vince Young and they have speed everywhere...

At this point, USC people are already p!ssed off at the prospect of playing in the Sun Bowl at El Paso...
