If Beanie can stay injury free, he should have a great season.

I think Tebow will be fantastic this year but he will not have the carries that he did last year because of the addition of Rainey, Williams and Moody to the Florida offense. Heck....from what I have seen of Rainey he could join the mix of Florida Heisman candidates.

Percy Harvin would have a shot at the Heisman also but he will have to share the ball with all those other weapons as well.

The positive side of all this is that UF's offense looks virtually unstoppable this season which is nice considering that the only team that gave UF's offense any trouble last year was a team they don't play this year...Auburn. :D

Beanie gets the perfect opening game to seperate himself from the group. Road game at USC a highly rated team. He doesn't have to run for 250 yds, or anything like that, but play very well get 150 yds or so and several touchdowns and he'll be set very well for a good run.

It'll be hard for Tebow to match last years stats and if I were a Gator I wouldn't want to do that, I'd rather a real RB step up and take that part of the load off him and let him be a QB who can run when needed. Keep him fresh and lessen the chance of injury. But his mere presence will keep the focus on him and off of Harvin so Harvin isn't likely to have a chance, he may garner votes but they will come out of the Tebow voters most likely.

If Georgia has a great year they also have Moreno and Stafford so those guys will divide the votes likely as well.

There's bound to be a guy who nobody even thought of as a candidate who will have a great start and people will jump on his bandwagon. I don't think it'll be Chase Daniel or the kid from Kansas (QB). If Texas can get rolling and beat OU and Colt McCoy has the type of year that he had 2 years ago he could jump into the mix pretty quickly. His problem will be that he lost some good recievers.

Then there is that kid in South Bend who was the best HS player in the country 2 years ago and had a rough initiation to the College game. Jimmy Clausen could jump into the race as well if the Irish rebound and get off to a great start.

Yes, Michigan won 41-35 but that was mostly about a group of Michigan seniors ( and juniors) on offense finally all healthy at the same time and playing their asses off for a beloved Lloyd Carr's last game and their last as Wolverines. Not to mention that UF's defense looked inept at times.

Certainly no reflection on Harvin's performance.
