Just had to add something near and dear to my heart: Fireman's Creed: When I'm called to duty God, Wherever flames may rage, Give me strength to save a life, Whatever be it's age. Help me to embrace a little child, Before it is too late. Or save an older person from, The horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert, To hear the weakest shout, And quickly and efficiently, To put the fire out. I want to fill my calling and, To give the best in me, To guard my neighbor and, Protect his property. And if according to your will, I have to lose my life, Bless with your protecting hand, My children and my wife. Fireman;s Prayer: Lord, grant me courage to face and conquer my fears to share and endure the ordeal of those who need me... Grant me strength of heart and body to bear whatever burden might be placed upon me, and to deliver to safety all those placed within my care... Give me concern for others the compassion to comfort, and the love to serve unselfishly whenever I am called... And please, Lord, through it all, be by my side.
