TOK has been very generous with his time and support in trying to help me learn how to embed/attach photos and pictures to my posts. It's not working, and I don't want to bother him any more than I have already. I joined Flickr and uploaded some photos and pictures from my computer. I chose a picture, clicked on "share", and grabbed the link. I tried to copy & paste a picture using the "img" borders, per Terry's illustration, but it won't take. What am I doing wrong?
Here's the link you should use for your picture inside of your img brackets: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2501/3947079893_da49a383f0_m.jpg
Success! Kes, your suggested link was contained in a group of links that I interpreted as one big link. What I needed to do was separate out that portion of the continuous information that applied to this issue. Your post gave me the info I needed to do it. Thank you!!
Glad you got it Sid. As you found out all you have to do is select any of the images and then right click them with your mouse and select "copy image location" and paste that between the image tags, you can alternately select view image and then copy the url from the address bar. In any case the image tags only work with files ending in .jpg and .gif
Terry, I just saw your question. Nice guess. The answer is yes. I figured that with the lower resolution everyone would think it was Golden Tate. Thanks again for your help in pointing me in the right direction, i.e., signing up for Flickr, etc.
