OK. Let's talk. This is the game we have chosen. I am ready to come out as part of a four person east coast, Jersey shore contingent of wise guys. One problem.... WE HAVE NO TICKETS!!! So I am looking for some feedback. What are my chances of scoring four tickets to the game.... at the game? I want as many responses as I can get. We are ready to drive 12 hours across I-80 or fly into O'Hare and rent the car. Give me an honest assessment. Do I have a chance to pick up four tickets? I expect to pay a vig. Or do we have to shake down some locals? I'll make them an offer they can't refuse. 8) Whatever? I'll bring steamers and some mussels and hot sauce.. Talk to me. This could get ugly
Right now today I would say that the excitement surrounding the game makes the chances of picking up gameday tickets less sure than it was during the Daive and Willingham years. But there always seems to be tickets available around any game. If the Irish stumble then of course your chances go up. Terry
ND/UCLA <r>George,<br/> <br/> My son and I are in the same boat as you are and like some others on the board I assume. I agree with Terry, the unfortunate side affect of Notre Dame's recent success is there will probably be less of a chance than in previous years of getting tickets the day of the game. <br/> <br/> Having said that, WE WILL BE THERE for the UCLA game on gameday. We will just have to take our chances. I don't think I would try it for the Michigan or Penn St. games. Hopefully we will all be able to get tickets that day. <E></E></r>
8) I'm bringing Mrs. JO'Co and I'll meet up with Dave Francis in Atlanta and we'll all share a car from Indianapolis. Not only do NONE of us have tickets, but the workers at Northwest Airlines have authorized a strike! What me worry? What are they going to do; take away me birthday? Last year, I got there (2,400 miles away) and didn't have a way home! Relax George. God protects little children, cute puppies and Irish drunks. We'll be fine... ...........................JO'Co
