    looks like Charlie nabs another Jersey kid. A de-commit from Tennessee. Services list him as a DB, but I read some speculation he's a slotback WR type.

    Nyshier Oliver or something like that?

    Yeah it's all over the Internet. He's a good pickup for all of Fulmers problems at the moment, in the past he's always had a good eye for talent so if Fulmer liked him then he's a great addition to the recruiting class.

    The bad news is that Xavier Nixon has dropped ND from his list of schools. We needed him a whole lot more than we needed Oliver.

    Also a poster on Rivals did post something positive on Jelani Jenkins and ND , but he's going to be hard to get away from Penn State.

    Yeah, win some, lose some. I trust Charlie's eye in talent. I think Chuckles has done quite well recruiting OL talent. You hate to miss out on those big time 5-star guys, but looking at Nixon's list, it is heavy on the Dixie... that usually doesn't bode well for us.

    I want guys who want ND.

    Charlie needs to recruit OL right thre in the midwest. These southern kids go soft up there in the chill. The Buckeyes get all theirs right where they live.

    Oliver

    <r>Back to the Oliver kid, I'm reading all kinds of things on him. Is he a WR, RB, DB or what. He has 4.4 speed and at 5'10" sounds like a DB to me. <E>8)</E></r>

    Tim,

    Everything I hear on the ND side (to date) has said WR (ala Grimes), yet all of the service rags I've read say he is a DB.

    So... I have no idea :D

    Welcome aboard!

    Oliver

    <r>guess I found the answer as to what position he'll be playing....in his own words:<br/>
    <br/>
    "I'm comfortable as long as I'm getting on the field," he said. "I told coach Weis like this, 'the fastest way I can get on the field, I'll play anything—safety, running back, wide receiver, whatever." <br/>
    <br/>
    That's what I like to hear. Just keep recruiting the best athletes you can and you will always find a position for them. <E>8)</E></r>

    I'm glad we got Zeke if for no other reason than his nickname...Zeke and Destroy!! :) Some say he's a bigger (but slower) version of TommyZ. I'll bet he ends up a LB when it's all said and done.

    Di the player you are talking about is "Anthony Barr, he's related to Reggie and Tony Brooks(his father). His mother is a St. Mary's Grad so I think we have the inside edge here! :)
