Does anyone know if the local church raffles that are in the Blue & Gold are legit. I believe $5 a chance and worth it if at least goes to the church.

    Thanks in Advance....Fitzy

Are you taling about chances to win tickets? I know that local ND clubs get tickets and reffle them off as fund raisers. It could be local churchs get tix from the school or alum for the same reason.

    re: tickets

I've found places online that are selling UCLA-ND tiks for $288. Before I buy some of these, should I wait to see if any of you guys have a chance to get some? Or should I just go ahead and buy them?

$288?? Wow! I don't live 2,000 miles away, so my suggestion may not be worth diddly poop to you. If that is the current price, I would take a chance on coming out without tickets and try to score some in the vicinity of campus or even on game day. How much worse could it be? In the alumni lottery, I got shut out of everything except Purdue, which was guaranteed to the old farts like me (graduated 35 yrs. ago or more). Looks like I need to reconsider my annual $100,000 donation.

I'm working on it but it isn't easy. Got to wait for things to settle down a little. Boy, I sure wish my old contact was still in the Admin. Bldg.

    Hey Sid
I'll see at the Purdue game where they put all of us old farts.
