    Terry, I think it goes to street agents and what has been brought out about Oregon for one.

    Mostly I feel like you said and also wonder just how they might enforce this.

    I am all for this.. This is the first step in trying to gain a stranglehold on the AAU situation that is out of control in hoops.. I still don't know how they are going to crack that, but they need to.

    When I coached, a lot of these web services were a joke (and still are). They would give the universities memberships. It was there way they could go back to the kids and say 'sign up with us and you will be seen by xxxxxx number of colleges.'

    Something changed though.. These guys were somehow put up in front of cameras and given WAAAAAY more credibility than they ever should have had. They could now charge the schools too.

    These recruiting services most certainly have members/owners/power players who have influenced kids before. I hate the whole industry.
