MWAHAHAHAHAAH!!! Corey doesn't have a chance!!! Since half my freakin' team has a BYE this week, I went shopping for some replacement talent. I scoured the open market comparing stats, and upcoming opponents to find the best possible options... And I GOT MY PLAYERS!! ahahaha!!!! Only to realize I traded a RB for another RB that has a BYE this week! In the words of Elvis: "Thank you... thank you very much."
hahahhaha Actually, I checked out O'keefe's machine today and saw half his team has a bye this week. I went shopping for some players myself only to schedule myself into a hole next week grrrr. This is fun
Only having 5 bench players makes it a lot more difficult when you have a bye week. Sometimes you might have to drop a good player you don't really want to drop.
... I hear that Crompton is available for anyone that wants the 13th ranked QB in the SEC. 13th ranked... That means that there is a back-up QB ranked higher than our starter!
It's the popular thing to do....I did the exact same thing yesterday only my kid was a wideout. I think they should make this thing like golf with handicaps....that way Bill's gotta give me 10 points this weekend! 8)
I'm a work in progress! But it helps that my Tenn opponent may be distracted by problems in Knoxville!!
Is there a report you can generate that shows the highest scoring players in our league? Bills selection of Jevon Ringer has certainly been a good one. I'm just curious.
Terry, There should be a spreadsheet option on almost every page. OK, so how does CBS come up with their 'opponent adjustment'?? Unless my math is bad, which is possible, I beat Terry 152-107.. but I am wondering if there will be some adjustment because my QB played Nebraska while Terry's played Colorado (who would have thunk that?)
OK, I'm going to tinker with this and use this to record my steps so terry can follow: 1. Go to stats. 2. Click on all-teams 3. Spreadsheet option upper right hand corner. This will show you all scorers for all teams.
Thanks Bill, Terry, I checked your question last night.. it was incredible.. Before yesterday's points added in, Bill's "Ringer" had like 180 fantasy points..whereas the next to closest were like 130ish. I know my top guy (Daniel) is in the 130 and there was someone else, who I can't remember... they were about the same. Still, using fantasy points as a Heisman guideline, Ringer is the guy.
I scored enough points to be 6 of our teams this week. Too bad I was playing one of the other three. :?
I know how you feel with that one Tom. One week I had enough points to beat anybody but Terry and that's who I played. A week ago I had enough points to beat anyone except both Terry's and I played the other one! Right now I've got a very good team but need a couple of breaks to make the playoffs. But life is good.
I would like to extend a shout of right now to Rick who gave me the head's up on Arizona's TE. I ditched the other 2 TEs I had been using and added him. He gave me the same number of fantasy points ( 28 ) that Chase Daniel did last week. I owe you a cold one Rick.
That figures.. I think I had that guy for a while, but had to drop him. (I had somebody from AZ) Ugh... My TE's have been HORRIBLE.
This Fantasy stuff has been good for one thing: I've watched a LOT of games with much greater interest that I might otherwise. I always try to watch a lot of games (on weeks I'm not in College Station), but now I'm REALLY paying attention. The downer - I was actually hoping Tech would score more to add on to my point total. Ugh... talk about strange bedfellows! :?
Scott, The funny thing is that I find myself rooting for teams to lose, while rooting for individual players to play well Rick, I picked up Grigsby last week too. I wish we could play Ty every week.
