Did you happen to watch the Phils/Cubs game yesterday? ( I only watched because my nephew/niece were there sitting behing catcher). Did you see the mass exodus of fans in 7th/ 8th inning? This happens in NY also. Can you imagine that happening at Friendly Fenway no matter the score?
Didn't see it, Joel. What'd you think of Hughes' overhand curve? I know he got hit by the Sox yesterday, but that pitch was awesome. You see him freeze Pedroia in the first inning? And how about Delcarmen striking out A-Rod?
I see that the Yankees found that buried Red Sox Jersey and hammered it out of the concrete...had to dig for 5 hours through 2 feet of concrete to get it but they did. I wonder how much it cost them to do it?
Morning, Joel! Lugo sparks the ninth-inning rally to tie the game, then Manny blasts a two-run shot to take the lead. Papelbon closes the door, but not without a little drama at the end. Almost a four-hour game. I'm heading home.
ahoy there ricko! I shut down in 5th inning...missed the fireworks. Speaking of fireworks I see Mister April is at it again!
Morning, Joel. Sox pull another one out tonight. Tek ties it in the 9th with a pinch-hit solo shot. Tribe intentionally walks Manny with runners on but Youk comes through with a big RBI. Okey Dokey in for the save, highlighted by (what Joe Castiglione described as) a tremendous game-ending catch by Ellsbury. Jed Lowrie got his first major league hit and RBIs tonight. The team is loading up on Pac-10 guys.
i like the kid..lowrie. He is going to stay :!: Cora down now..means they dip into Pawtucket once again! Good to have a pipe line like they have now
