I see UVA to the B1G as their next move, will they be pared with Ga.Tech? UVA would solidify Northern Va and DC area and Ga.Tech would extend footprint to Atlanta.
Georgia Tech made a big mistake when they left the SEC. No way they get back but a move to the Big 10/12/14/16 might make sense for them.
I have seen that discussed as well.....both schools certainly fit what appears to be their expansion criteria
I think the B!G TEN will eventually end up with 16 teams. Both universities mentioned here are viable contenders.
Don, as I think will the SEC, Big 12 and Pac 10. I did not mean my comment about Georgia Tech to be negative in any way. I actually would like them to be back in the SEC but under current conditions that won't happen. Any additions will have to be states that are not currently in the conference. That would leave out FSU and Ga Tech for the SEC. I think other conferences are taking the same approach. I think the SEC may have our eyes on Va Tech and one of the North Carolina schools, NC State or NC. That would leave FSU to go to the Big 12 which could be a good deal for them and the Big 12. I would think Louisville would be a good candidate to go there also.
Seems like we are either watching games on our theater sized flat screens....or our 4 inch cell phones. http://www.wired.com/underwire/2007/09/purdue-geeks-ou/ That was an old article from 2007. Probably out of date by now.
If that's the one I'm thinking about, they are custom built starting at 300K. Stu's right, there is all sorts of push to get TV on your SmartPhone or Tablet. Slingbox has apps, you can download an espn app to watch stuff, I have a Directv app that allows me to watch some of their content.
   I spent many an hour in front the TV with my two kids, watching Maggie and The Beast. I have not heard that in a long, long time! Thanks for the reminding me!
