Somebody here said they read this at one time (JOCO, DOC?) and said it was a very good read. Has anybody seen the movie yet? I plan on taking Pops to go see it tomorrow. The previews and write ups sell it as being worth the ticket price.

 joco wont go... he hates the movies unless it is star wars or Harry Potter. sorry we will have to wait untl it comes out on HBO or CD for him to watch it... he spends all weekend eccept when ND is on grading papers and doing class study plans the rest of the weekend. on weeknight he comes on grades papers and lesson plans thats what happens when you have over 250 students. I tried to help him out graded tests multiple choice only... and it took me 7 1/2 hours' the test had 33 questions by the end I had the answrs memorized. but now he has less papers to grade this weekend.

Moneyball is one of those books that I intend to read, but I haven't got to it yet. It certainly has been influential throughout the world of MLB. I'll start a book section in the back room, but I don't want to start one during the football season. I'll wait until after the bowl games.
