Speaking of modern dorm living. I think dorms were a little different when Sid went to college before the War.

Those units look pretty nice. It must be quite a comedown when you finish school and have to move back in with your parents.
Now the rooms themselves weren't that great at ND but we had a laundry service and maids.....yep, I said maids. They'd come in clean your sink, make the beds and straighten up. Life at ND was pretty good.....until they started letting women in. Then all of a sudden the maids were gone.

 

Really? I was thinking that when Brian lived in Sorin 86'-90' that they still had maids.

 

I think they might still have them (maids) today. I'll have to check that out.

 

For some reason I thought that they were long gone.
