I thought for sure the Cards would sweep the Dodgers in 4, looks like it'll be a long series now.

How about that play at 3rd in the Philies/Rockies game? He's OUT!! Whoops nope he wasn't out, but the blues don't change their mind....classic case of why we need more instant replay in baseball!!

Is the AL playing? Does anybody care?

We might have wished it was a 7 game series after all is said and done. Cards looked sloppy and confused last night. Better take this one today or as Jiffy says...........

I see that Brad Lidge finally got a save for the Phils last night. Maybe he'll be reliable now in the playoffs, I hope so. I really like Brad hope he closes things the rest of the way and gets the Phils the WS Championship.

    Yup Maz was the answer.

Another thing about Maz, who was the best Double play combo in baseball history? Answ. Maz and whoever the Pirates had at SS. Maz still leads in all time double plays.

Also shows you the expansion of the MLB playoffs. That was the game winner in the 7th game!! The WS was over...when will it be over this year??

What happened to the ball, Maz gave the 13 y/o who caught it 2 cases of beer according to Wikipedia. I wonder what would happen if he did that today? :)
