I'll start the conversation by wishing a happy birthday to Ernie Banks, one of my two childhood idols and one of the greatest ever.
Yeah....I've heard of him....and I looked up this Mr. Cubby guy to...he seems to have been pretty good also.....
Well Spring training is under way this week. I saw an article on ESPN ranking the top 6 teams going into this season. 1. CUBS!!!! 2. METS 3. ASTRO's!!!!! 4. Royals 5. Blue Jays 6. Dodgers. I'm surprised to see the Astro's in that high a position. I would have thought the Rangers would be in that spot. Also no Cardinals...they are being described as aging, window closed, etc. Time to be a Cubs fan? http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/68235/ranking-the-teams-6-through-1-3
One of Trump's advisors should have told him before tweeting that Cubbie fans are a YUGE voting bloc. https://mobile.twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/701779181986680832
Red Sox look to be in mid-season form. This is 3B Pedro Sandoval. Wrestling fans remember him as "Kamala the Ugandan Giant".
OK so what is wrong with ARod? He's dating this chick...Anne Wojcicki... a 40's chick with a Yale degree and the ex-wife of a Google co-founder and the founder her self of a bio-tech company called 23andme..which I have used. She hardly looks like the ARod type...you know 20's, blonde, big rack, small brain, stripper. On the other side you Baseball History Types might like the Smithstonian Channel series on Baseball Legends. http://www.smithsonianchannel.com/shows/major-league-legends/1004228
George, The Yankees have shown real class. A 26 yr. old deputy sherff in Howard County, IN (Kokomo), about 45 miles north of Indianapolis, was killed serving a warrant in a neighboring town. Somehow the Yankees got word that he was a fan. They sent a huge floral arrangement with their sympathy. It was big news here in central Indiana.
