Could be a preseason favorite in the east. :)

Missouri in the East makes absolutely no sense at all. Everyone has to make sacrifices to the alter of the God SuperConference.

You're right Corey, but I sure as hell don't want to give up the Alabama Tennessee game or have Auburn move to the East. At least this way the divisions just add one team. We don't have to realign.

I think that the Gators, Dawgs, and Vols were all for it. After all the Tide probably belongs in the East. :)

    KP,

I get what you're saying but if you look at all of the tradition and history that has been thrown under the bus in the era of the BCS so that we can pursue this god called Superconference, I don't see why the SEC should be any different? Why not move Auburn and Alabama to the East and add Missouri/Texas A&M to the West? That would actually make rivalry integrity easier to maintain...or at least something along those lines. I just don't see how you can avoid not re-aligning the league.

    For example:

    West:
Texas A&M, LSU, Missouri, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Miss State

    East:

Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina,, Kentucky Georgia and Florida.

While Vandy's "West" placement may seem odd in relation to it's geographic location comparative to Tuscaloosa, it's also further north closer to Missouri and Arkansas. Vandy is the team that doesn't have all those rich, historical rivalry games and could be moved the easiest.

    Corey,
Ok, if you remember I didn't want to expand in the first place. How you realigned it would work better, and if we could play LSU as our one constant SECW opponent then that would work.

Yes opinions are like certain body parts. Everybody has one.

Personally I think the divisions are fine.
