Boy I tell you what, every time Tiger wins it seems to jump start old Phil.

Mickelson lips out a 25 footer on 18 yesterday failing to become 1 of only 5 people to card a 59 on the PGA Tour.

I will say that it would have been one of the easier ones, only because the Phoenix Waste Management Open isn't the toughest of tracks.

If me, Gip, and Doc played a 3 man scramble, my back would have been sore, but we could have posted a 59.

I'd have made that putt for our team! :) Gipper would be assigned recovery duty from your drives! :)

I think it's only a par 71 and 17 is like a par 3 1/2. 15 is a very reachable par 5 (I know cause even I have gotten home in 2 on that hole.) We'd murder that course (in our primes  )

Phil's continuing his assualt on the course. He whales a drive so far off line that it turns out to be a good shot on #18....birdies the hole. Crowd erupts...he's like butter on a roll.

I hope he steam rolls the course again tomorrow.

Phil finishes with a flourish...almost knocks it in the water, but because he's a lefty gets a decent stance and does his famous flop shot and drains the put for the win!
