"That's probably the truth, as the piling-on piles up. Those who want a change because of his 15-21 record (0-6 against Ohio State and Michigan State) aren't likely to be swayed."

    From The Detroit News: http://detnews.com/article/20101207/OPINION03/12070334/Michigan-football-squirms-as-Dave-Brandon-delays-decision-on-Rich-Rodriguez#ixzz18KUEaqeE

I can say that without question if Muschamp were to go 0-6 vs. Georgia and FSU.......he's done.... kaput....see ya!!!

I still can't believe that they hired him in the first place. It made no sense. Then he began running all the power players out of the program and I knew it was a mistake. He still doesn't understand the culture of the Big Ten. What are they waiting for?

I think that the loss to Appy St. had a profound effect on the way they thought that the trend in college football was going. If the spread offense could overcome the talent edge that they had in that game then they wanted to adopt the "new" offense of college football. Richrod seemed like the logical choice.

I thought RR was a great choice for Michigan but I didn't know he would bring no defense.

If he had a defense to go with his offense Michigan would be damned hard to beat.

It seems to me that they have to have Harbaugh ready to go after the Stanford game. Otherwise there is no reason to not have confirmed RR will be staying, it's killing their recruiting. If the Bowl game is truly RR's make or break game, and the AD doesn't have Harbaugh ready to take the job, then who will they get at that late date? In college most of the moving and shaking is done in Dec before the bowls.

The Stanford AD has said they have a new contract for Harbaugh in his hands, but it's yet to be signed. I have to assume that Harbaugh does not want anything to get into the way of him finishing out the season with a Orange Bowl victory. To me that he has not signed the new contract tells me he is keeping his options open and will consider Mich and/or NFL offers.

I have to agree with you Terry.

It seems like a done deal to me.

    RR out at Michigan........Harbaugh in.

I wonder not if.....but how long into his intro presser that he will "guarantee" a victory vs. the Buckeyes next season......much like he did before his last game played against them.......which I attended by the way.
