Definitely the Biggest Nike Contract, we'll probably never really know if it's bigger than the ND Under Armour deal, as part of ND's deal was stock options in Under Armour which has grown quite a bit since then enhancing the value of the ND deal. Just like everything else if you got a deal 2 years ago, the deals this year are likely to be bigger. Same for individual contracts for athletes, they just keep getting bigger every year. The story contrasts the deal to ND's agreement with UA but failed to note the stock options included in ND's agreement which certainly could increase the value of that agreement. http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2015/07/nike_michigan_1.html Adidas still is the leader in soccer appeal but was not impressed by the quality of their design creativity or product workmenship re their fan apparel or uniforms. Their special event unis were especially butt ugly. Nike did a nice job when they were our supplier in the past and glad we switched back to them although UA would have been a good choice, too.
Texas will be up for a new deal next year, and Texas fans are salivating on how much money they will throw at TEXAS, if they gave michigan that much....you know everything is bigger in TEXAS!!
