56 degrees with heavy rain...Not your typical Florida September weather. I am 200 miles North of Miami and have not seen 56 degrees since March....For all the talent teams have we often forget how much weather has an effect...

Va Tech recovers a fumble and draws first blood. 7 - 0.

Mercy that Tech QB is going to be fun to chase around all day. I hope he keeps throwing the ball instead of running down field, looks like Beamer has a good game plan for Miami.

I almost started Jacorey Harris in the Fantasy League but thought that the VT defense might be formidable. I started the MO QB instead and still might not beat Sid.

Tough road game for a young team, then toss in the bad weather and being down....well it is what it is.

VT scores to move ahead 31 - 7. This is a young Miami Team that should learn from this experience. Oklahoma coming up, it will be interesting to see how they react.

I'm hoping they bounce back big against Oklahoma. I have the MO QB that has a bye next week. That leaves Jacorey Harris as my choice for QB in the fantasy league.

Incredible game for the Hokies. Beamerball was in full effect. In Miami's defense, I think the weather couldn't have been better for the Hokies.

Wow, talk about a fun time for the Hokies today, congratulations to their team. I agree with Aquila that the weather was perfect for Beamers team and he used all the right moves in this domination. He once again used the speed of Miami against them with pitches, counters and draws. Brings back some old memory's I would rather forget playing the Hokies...

But its all good and I too am interested in how they bounce back next week against Oklahoma...

How good is Alabama? They handled VT pretty easily. They also shut down an Ark. offense that looked pretty potent vs Ga.
