Yeah this was not your DVR required kinda game that anyone cares about but in the best of times Boston College has given us fits and always plays a physical game especially in Boston. The Canes won 41-32 but found themselves behind by 14 points but came back to to tie it and eventually move on for the win. This Cane team has 64-65 freshman and sophomores on the team with almost nobody back from last years squad. So a win like this builds lots of character as we go next week into Kansas St and eventually play Notre Dame, FSU and others... It may be a long season so I will take the good when I can...
I watched this. You have some remarkable young talent and incredible speed on that team. You're light in the ass, but you're awfully quick.
Very surprising to me, I really thought the Hurricane's wouldn't be any good this year after all that has gone on around them. Maybe this guy Golden does know what he's doing!
Oh give the Cane faithful a little time Terry and you will hear that he is a terrible coach when he doesn't play for the NC with the above mentioned youngsters... We are still living on the residual from championships past even though we cannot even compete for an ACC championship these days. Golden is fantastic, everything we needed and then some. I hope he is patient when the guillotine slides down in about six months.. I agree with Corey the young talent did look good yesterday with lots of speed and he nailed it again by noticing we have no large bodies to stand the gap. One of our Achilles that folks will take notice of, plus an old out of shape white guy like me could have put up a 100 yards receiving yesterday with the poor coverage... Thank you Don, it looks as if Meyer is going to impress in the Big 10 as we expected, great game for Ohio St and a little scary for the opposition.. We are draining well, picked up 10-11" on that week, we are too flat, sandy and not built at the bottom of a bowl for water to stand around very long. The mosquitoes will carry away small children and most of the poodles this week after the rain, I may be too anemic to watch football the rest of season and just relish in being unbeaten in my own little world.
 I also watched this game, because the Irish play both teams. I agree with Corey and I thought the young Canes team did very well to come back after be down early. That tells me that they will be very good somewhere down the road. Right now, they have everything but weight...
