Miami to forgo bowl game due to NCAA probe

    I don't really know what effect this has in the scheme of things but I guess it can't hurt before going to the gallows of the NCAA..... Besides it was painful enough to watch the Canes during the regular season much less a bowl game....

    I think it's a good decision. Take a lump now, in a year when the team wasn't going anywhere anyway. Miami will be MUCH better in coming years under Golden IMHO and there will be more lucrative bowl opportunities down the line.

    You know it's pitiful when Cane fans can only talk about what it used to be like and the last time Miami won a National Championship in 2001. Does anyone remember who we played in that game?? Oh yeah it was them Corn Shuckers from Nebraska with their Heisman winner Eric Crouch, I wonder if he ever recovered from the hits they put on him that night... :twisted:
