This article on CBS is a good look at where Meyer is today.....and where he could eventually wind up. I do wonder if he really thinks he can pull a Lou Holtz and ride off into the media sunset after coaching. Something tells me like this article suggests that Urban isn't quite ready to do that: http://www.cbssports.com/#!/collegefootball/story/15054435/nothing-wrong-with-meyer-on-tv-but-it-isnt-right
I might have mentioned it before but the "health" problems Meyer had was, as someone else wrote, strongly resembling an anxiety attack. Watching his last year at Fla. just seemed to me that he was under some heavy medication. He seems just fine doing the studio work. I'm not sure, he'll return to the coaching pressure cooker.
I'm with you gipper. I hope he is like Madden and sticks with the broadcasting. If he is like Dick Vermiel and returns to coaching I hope he will have learned like Vermiel how to moderate his personality. I think at this point he would be best served to broadcast. Regardless I wish him best at whatever does.
