    The President goes to Arlington. Right? Wrong.

    The President goes to Chicago. Hangs out with old friends. Throws a party for Paul McCartney.

    I wonder when was the last time a President didn't go to Arlington on Memorial day? Surely he'll do something to honor those who died for our country.

    In 2002 Bush didn't go to Arlington.
    He was in France and honored the fallen at Normandy

    I believe Reagan was either in Normandy one Memorial Day or somewhere else in Europe honoring the fallen in the course of other business at that time.

    I think the difference here is that Obama planned a four day vacation over this holiday and only threw in last minute hastily planned trips to the gulf yesterday and the Lincoln cemetery in Chicago on Monday after the public outcry started.

    This is his second vacation since the well blew 35 days ago.
