I was at my first KY-Fla game in Lexington.... back in 1986.... Didn't turn out so well for the Gators....
Dang, Dave is becoming ancient, I'm not sure there were airplanes the last time Kentucky beat Florida
You mean 31 Terry? Here's an article that sums up the game pretty well in my opinion. http://www.gainesville.com/sports/20170924/gators-have-knack-under-mac-for-dramatic-wins
Great article Bill..... thanks for sharing. Watched the game in a bar called Kelly's in Dunedin about a mile from my condo with about a 100 other Pinellas County Gator Club members. Damn that ending was fun but all night I was resigned to the fact that these Gators were not as good as those Cats. But grit and determination won out plus a little bit of new offensive talent discovered in Malik Davis and Toney. I'll be disappointed when Georgia beats these guys for the SEC East title but seriously.... the Dawgs are about all the East has to offer up to the Crimson Tide to keep the game in Atlanta within 17 points. I hate that "Bama just whipped our asses" feeling in early December so if we avoid that by vacating the East title to Georgia then so be it.
You guys scored 2 TDs in which Kentucky didn't even cover the WR? My god that was just bad football. As I said on Facebook, moonshine, meth and blowing 4th quarter leads to the Florida Gators are all things native to Kentucky.
Is this article regarding Gators getting suspended for Credit Card fraud an extension of what got players suspended for the Michigan game or a completely new allegation? http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/20815993/eight-florida-gators-players-facing-third-degree-felony-charges-fraud-investigation
