One of my favorite weeks of the year, 2nd only to the Cornhusker Spring game week!! I'm not all that interested in a contest myself but here are my favorites. 1. Phil Mickelson ...played out of sight last week, historically that's a bad thing to win the week before. But he did it the last time he won so maybe that rule doesn't apply to Phil. 2. Bubba Watson...if it's true what they say that you can wale away on your driver in the Masters and not face too much of a penalty for wayward shots...then can you imagine a better senario for Bubba??? Question is of course does he have the short game. I've seen some good short game from him but not on Augusta greens. 3. Luke Donald...talk about short game!! He's not long off the tee nor esp accurate either...so maybe this is the one major he won't be penalized for it. 4. Nick Whatley ...I liked the way he played at Doral. 5. Dustin Johnson...after Bubba this is the guy I'd like to see win, he's suffered enough!! Not to mention his legendary bombing skills should be esp handy at the Masters.
