It's spring, it's beautiful and it's Masters Week. The worlds best tournament. My 2 sisters and their husbands won tickets in the draw and will be attending one day this week. I'm envious.

It's the #1 thing I want to do someday. But at least I'll get a free cap out their trip! :)

    Favorites?

    Bubba Watson
    Jordan Speith
    Henrick Stenson
    Phil Mickelson

The course seems to set up well for both Bubba and Phil, and Phil played well at the Shell this week so his game could be ready. Stenson, that guy is so good it's hard to imagine he won't challenge. Jordan Spieth is really playing well as well and I expect him to be in the hunt.

There will also be somebody nobody thinks of who will get off to a great start on Thursday morning and maybe even lead early but fade late on Sat or Sunday.

    Who do you like?

Just found out that you can get Masters gear online now. I thought for years that they would only sell their stuff at the tournament no online sales. I guess they must have realized they were missing a revenue stream.

Hat that cost 24$ everywhere else...45.99 on sale today!! Box of Logo Golf Ball's ProV1, 100$. Shirts that are 60-80$ everywhere are 115$....What a deal!! :)

I've already bookmarked the web site. Pairings and tee times announced this afternoon. Should be a great weekend.

Watching the Featured Group #1 with Rose, Watson and Yang (A)....Yang very frustrated, +11 through 13. I'm sure his dream was to make the cut...not happening. Tom Watson at 65 though is in at -1, could be the oldest ever to make the cut, he set that as a goal this year.

Jordan Spieth having a great day, leading now. -7

Freddy Couples having a bad round, he's +6 through 14 and that's very unusual for him. Even since he's been playing on the Champions tour he's had several Masters where he was in contention on the Weekend.

Very nice first day. Gotta love the scores of Tom Watson and Ernie. Romac better make his move today. Spieth may run away and hide.

Is there any other sport where a 65 y/o man can compete with the younger pro's? I don't think so. Golf truly a lifetime sport.

Another exciting day at Augusta National. Speith sets the 36 hole record of 130. But how about Dustin Johnson? 3 Eagles in his round something that's never been done before in the Masters. They give out crystal trophies for Eagles at the tournament. I hope they have anough. :)

Spieth on the driving range chatting up Tiger...man have things changed. Tiger used to scare the piss out of everybody, they kept their distance.

I'll bet AJ is looking right now for those shoes that Keegan Bradley is wearing! :)

Wow! They should put his picture in the dictionary under the word POISE. He was unflappable. We could use a couple of more Jordan Spieths for the Ryder Cup. :)

Great day for Jordan, didn't play defensively went for it on #15 when they were talking about going ahead and laying up...what do they know!

While it is small potatoes considering how epic his win was, but I'd have liked to seen him hold on to the -19 by making that last par. Cherry on the top of a very big Sundae! :)

    Terry,
I think he just wanted to putt the ball without thinking about it. I cannot imagine the nerves at that point.

Great win for Spieth. I have not enjoyed recent Masters Tournaments, but this one was very enjoyable.
