I have no idea what kind of team Notre Dame is projected to be next season, but one thing is certain.....We just got a heck of a lot better with Luke Harangody's announcement that he's coming back for his senior year. Obviously, he felt (was advised?) that he could improve his NBA draft potential with one more year in college. Whatever the reason, I'm glad he is returning.
I'm glad he's coming back as well. I doubt though that he'll improve his NBA standing. He's a classic college over achiever. He's really too small to play PF in the NBA and not really quick enough to be a SF. Did I mention he was white? If he's eventually drafted (best hope is 2nd round) he'll be an asset to a team for his hard work and never quit mentality. He'll find a way to stick. The Irish will be pretty darn young next year and it's doubtful that he'll have a better Sr. season than his soph/jr years. Of course some of the babies could be great and make the other teams not just concentrate on shutting him down.
