My family members who are Cubs fans are glad to see him go. I can't say I disagree because it's obvious to me that he has stayed too long at the dance. However, I am not going to bash him as others are doing. In only 4 years, he raised the bar to the point where Cubs fans expect to compete for the division title, thus making this year even more disappointing than past expected failures. He was an outstanding manager throughout his career. Now he is going home to take care of his ailing mother. Thanks, Lou.
