Tried to change my avatar. It deleted the old one but cannot get new one to upload.

Tried several different ones. Had some trouble getting the size small enough (seems like it was easy the last time I did it) but finally got there.

Now every time I try to upload one from my computer I get some multi-line warning that lasts only a few seconds and says something to the effect of being "Cannot modify header information"...then it goes away and I get kicked back to the board.

I guess I need an avatar primer. :(

Can a man without an avatar really call himself a man?

So what's the problem ? File too big.

George, I got the file down to size and it still won't upload. Gives me some kind of repetitive warning about modifying header information.

You can't upload it from your computer Stu, it has to be already someplace on the internet where you link to it. If you don't have a place to store it on the internet just email it to me and I'll put it on my site.

When you are in your profile...the only field that works is the last one. Link to offsite avatar.

For Bobda as an example, this is a publically viewable file, it's located on the internet and it's a .jpg Now it's a little too big and he should download it and crop it down from 180x257 to 100 x 142 which you can easily do in Windows Paint. Then that's where you have to upload it back to the internet and link to it.

I did exactly that and uploaded it to my site so I could link it here.

If any of you guys find a file you want to use as your avatar and don't have a place to put it, just email it to me and I'll fix it for you.

That one is always funny. To tell you the truth Longhorn Cattle produce a really good product, their steaks are very tasty! :)

    But don't forget:

Ralph you should consider starting your own herd there in Central Fla...could be more profitable than Fla Peaches! :)

Here's a place if you want to start.

As a former bull rider ( never said I was very smart) I have always dreamed of owning my own herd (as my father did and I worked, still have the scar of where a steer ran over me imprinting his logo on my chest).

But the market is at its highest point since the 50's so I am in no hurry. Maybe one day because it's in my blood but not today....Too damn expensive.

Venison with a little beef fat will suffice until then...

Much more lucrative on the gator wrestling side of things :)

Bull riding only gave me numerous hospital visits and the chance at whatever girl but I was too beat up to follow thru on my exploits....
