USA women fall behind France 2-0 in the first 14 minutes, then come back to win 4-2.

Lot of talent on that team, it was a big disappointment that we didn't win the World Cup last time.

Watched Womens Volleyball today, USA v S. Korea. Americans were breezing till one of Koreas hitters got hot and they battled us tooth and nail even though they lost 3-1. That Korean girl was awesome, she's really carried their team on her shoulders.

Volleyball really is a very exciting sport to watch, the gals are incredible athletes.

I've become a fan of women's volleyball too. The men's game is all power, all the time, but women's volleyball includes power with spectacular rallies and diving saves...

This Deadspin "Haters Guide to the Olympics" is pretty funny.

    I don't know why but somehow I think Corey was a co-author! :)

This is the empty seats Olympics. Since the Brits are so prickly and sensitive to criticism, nobody wants to admit that they don't know what they're doing. This is one of the poorest jobs of Olympic organizing that I've ever seen. Romney was right...

The Chinese always cheat. Whether it's the Taiwanese cheating in Little League, or the mainland Chinese cheating at everything else; the result is the same. Today the Chinese answered allegations of cheating at women's swimming by accusing Michael Phelps of cheating four years ago. Uh......exqueeze me? The Chinese girl who won the gold medal is a 16 year-old kid who swam FASTER than Michael Phelps or Ryan Lochte. In fact, she swam seven seconds faster than she did just last year. Are they kidding? China is infamous for doping their swimmers going back to the 1980's...

Then there was the Korean girl who was cheated by a timing error in fencing.

The USA-Canada soccer match today was the most exciting soccer match I've ever seen. Goals, near goals, defensive stands and 2 hours of non-stop action. The winning goal was actually scored during the 3 minute extra time period following the 120 min mark. The US trailed 3 times during the match and tied it up each time. Now a rematch of the World Cup Finals last year with Japan.

Wow! What a game! Our ladies score with 30 seconds left of the add-on, injury time in the second overtime period...

USA vs Japan rematch for the gold!

Agree with all of this especially Terry's comment about Carl Pistorius.

The men's basketball team seems to find that one period where they absolutely blow the other team out. Argentina was giving them a good game and shooting a very high percentage on their shots until the 3rd quarter where the USA gets 45 points and turns a close game into a rout.
