September 29, 2006 -- DAVID Letterman had a gay ol' time last night sending up former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey and his warts-and-all bio, "The Confession," which chronicles his secret homosexual life. Letterman's Top-10 chapter titles for McGreevey's tome: #10. "The Day I Got Caught Governing Myself;" #9. "How to Pretend to Like Girls for 47 Years;" #8. "From Schwarzenegger to Pataki: Governors I'd Like to Oil Up;" #7. "Another Confession - I Can't Resist Entenmann's Pound Cake;" #6. "At First I Just Thought I Was Bipartisan;" #5. "The New Jersey Budget Crisis - What Would Judy Garland Do?;" #4. "A Look at the Governor's Balls;" #3. "Politicians Who Left a Bad Taste in My Mouth;" #2. "How to Push Through a Bill - Or a Steve or a Larry;" And the #1 chapter title, "Why I Don't Like Bush."
Now, now Terry.......don't bash Indy's favorite son.....next to Evan Bayh, of course. He's a comedian. That's what comedians do. He pokes fun at Bush, and if there was a Dem in office, he'd poke fun at him (her) too.
I didn't see this until now. Funny stuff Rick. Mc Greedy, Mc Gavy is not one of my favorite governors. He ranks up there with Florio and Corzine as some of the worst we have had. New Jersey is a nasty, nasty, state when it comes to taxes and governance. Way too many small cities , one square mile types with their own Police,Fire , School and Municipal Courts. This is a Gestapo state! I still fume over getting my driver's license suspended twice in 1999 over unpaid parking tickets barely 90 days old. Talk about a crime that doesn't fit the punishment.
Heres a Halloween gretting for you http://www.bluemountain.com/view.pd?i=149486103&m=5946&rr=y&source=bma999
