Leaving today after my nephew, who is going with me, gets off work. This is the first game I'll make this year. I hope to make two more, Georgia and S. Carolina. My wife isn't going with me this time, she's not quite ready to travel with her knee, but I'm hoping she will travel with me to the other two games, even if she doesn't attend she can visit with our kids and grand kids. I'll be out and about most of the day today but may get to check in briefly before leaving. Good luck to all of you this weekend, may the football fates be kind.
Bill, I know a guy who has lived in Highlands, NC, for many years. He is the older brother of a good friend of mine. Their family originally is from Mishawaka, IN, next door to South Bend. Jim Fox is his name. He is an architect and has designed many homes and buildings in the area. I'm sure that just because Highlands is down the road from Franklin, it's unlikely that your paths would cross. I just thought it was an interesting semi small world thing. Have a safe and fun trip.
Thanks guys, I'm turning the computer off and putting it in's it carrying case and in the car will be under way shortly. Good luck to all your teams.
Already down here... Went fishing today with my Dad and my son on the Jax Beach pier. Saw 4 reds caught that each went over 30 pounds! Heading to G-ville about 1 pm tomm for some serious tailgating.. Go Gators!!
We got in Jacksonville about 1 am. It's been raining and overcast here, I hope the game doesn't have rain. We are leaving about 4pm to meet our other daughter at Burrito Brothers which is her family's favorite place to eat in Gainesville. That's about the extent of our tailgating.
