U.S. Justice Department files court challenge to Alabama's new immigration law http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2011/08/hold_us_justice_department_see.html Consider that one of my son's fellow troopers just pulled over a van load of border jumpers without papers for speeding on the NJ Turnpike. He held them in custody on the side of the road. Background checks revealed that none of them were here legally, three of them had been previously deported and two of them were convicted felons. Following protocol, the troopers called ICE. After hearing the account the ICE rep instructed the troopers to turn them loose because there "was nothing ICE could do about it". The troopers stood there watching the illegal felons drive off in the direction of NYC in a van with Georgia license plates. And this happens daily on a road near you.
New day; new laugh... Democrat senators claimed yesterday that "Obama is turning into Jmmy Carter right before our eyes..." Hey! Those guys are slow. I heard some Republicans refer to Obama's reign as the "second term of the Carter Administration" on the day he took over!

Ignorance of history and the constitution come in all colors. How did this bonehead ever get elected to Congress?
Lest we forget http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMy-g-dlkZI&feature=fvst Just imagine how stupid the people who vote for this moron are.
 You can't disguise dumb. Hank Johnson and all the other Georgia pea-brains combined aren't dumber than the Democrats that we have here. Our dumb Democrats are #1. Here is our senator (Clinton's sister-in-law) in action... <object><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yo7BVdfdhd4?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yo7BVdfdhd4?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

"Well, we're going to focus on what we know is the number one priorities on Americans ease minds right now, that is creating jobs and continuing to get this economy turned around. If we have to drag the Republicans with us, then we'll do that, but, you know, it's been a whole lot of months, eight months they have controlled the house with no jobs bills coming to the Floor. Hopefully now with this compromise on the debt ceiling behind us, with the opportunity, with the economic to sit down and focus on longer-term deficit reduction that will have some balance and ask some sacrifice for our most fortunate," Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told MSNBC. Schultz is also the Chairwoman of the DNC. "We're creating jobs each month in the private sector." Opining on Voter ID laws being enacted across the nation to prevent voter fraud, Wasserman Schultz says "you're more likely to be hit by lightning than be a victim" of fraud. ---- That whole passage is chock full of nonsense but the part about creating jobs in the private sector really got my attention. I heard today that 18000 jobs were created in the entire country in the month of June and half of those were in Wisconsin. And what does that Governor get for his hard work? The voters are recalling him!

The Federal Govt refuses to do their job, essentially, and if you leave it to the states... well, Alabama will come up with something to make you cringe. The details of this legislation are what have me up in arms. There are items in it that basically allow law enforcement to pull you over for simply being brown... or 'looking like an illegal alien.' Hell, until she got married recently, my favorite local illegal alien was a white English gal who use to baby sit Carson. (she's now legal).. Would she ever be pulled over under this law? You and I both know she wouldn't.. The last thing we ever need is more laws, but why can't we ever seem to enforce the laws we have?
